The ABB PM595-4ETH-F AC500 Processor Module is a flagship CPU in the AC500 platform, engineered for demanding distributed automation systems. This module combines substantial memory—16 MB for program and 16 MB for data—with an exceptional processing speed of 0.0000006 ms per binary instruction, enabling high-speed logic and motion control. Its versatile connectivity includes four Industrial Ethernet ports (two of which feature an integrated switch for line/tree topologies) and two RS232/485 serial ports, plus two expansion slots for CM couplers to integrate PROFIBUS, CANopen, or other fieldbus networks.
