The Allen-Bradley 1794-IC16 is a high-density digital input module within the FLEX I/O family, designed to interface directly with 24V DC discrete sensors, limit switches, and pushbuttons in distributed control architectures. This module features 16 sinking inputs (current-sourcing from the field device) and provides optical isolation between the field wiring and the backplane logic, ensuring noise immunity and safety in industrial environments.
